AIR (Artists-in-Residence) Studio + Gallery is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit artist cooperative located in Glencoe, Illinois. Our community of artist members are provided studio space to work, a gallery to display their art, learning and networking opportunities, and emotional support.

Our Purpose
Artists-in-Residence (AIR) was formed for the purpose of creating a supportive environment for local artists. We provide work space for artists who may not have their own studios, gallery space where artists can stage exhibits and display their art, and perhaps most importantly, a safe, nurturing community of fellow creatives. Many artists work in isolation and (especially women artists) lack gallery representation. At AIR, artists can share ideas and techniques, offer workshops and classes, and network with the public by sponsoring community events.

In addition, AIR hosts a wide variety of arts programs including workshops, critiques, events and more. AIR often partners with other Chicago area arts organizations, as well as local Glencoe and North Shore businesses and arts groups.

Membership

For a monthly fee, artist members have an opportunity to share the studio space and participate in group and individual shows. In addition, AIR provides its members support and opportunities to grow as artists.
