Feb 11: Interference and Iridescent Paints- Working with Shimmer $45, $25 AIR members
From the beauty of a dragonfly's wing to the shimmer of a soap bubble , interference colors capture prismatic light. We will experiment with adding these paints to a variety of colored surfaces as well as creating a patina surface with our magnificent iridescent (metallic) paints.
Mar 11: Mixed Media on Plexiglass
$45, $25 AIR members + $10 materials fee
Explore the transparencies as well as the power of reverse painting on plexiglass. We will explore layering with a variety of gels ,and how they effect both painting and collage. A variety of acrylic paint "skins" will be provided as well as plexiglass and paints to create stunning artworks.
Apr 8: Finishes for Mixed Media: From Gloss to an Encaustic Look $45, $25 AIR members
Acrylic/(watercolor) artwork takes on a different tone and a richness depending on how you finish the topcoat. We will put four different finishes on small collages/paintings and expand our visual vocabulary.

J’ai même eu la chance de déclencher un bonus qui a ajouté une dose d’adrénaline à ma session !
