AIR Gallery announces Iwona Duniec's "Surfing Between Dimensions" Show featuring 12 new paintings. Depicted is her never-ending exploration for the meaning of something that is beyond the limits of our human capacity to fully describe with language. Duniec's show runs from March 5-27, 2022 at the nonprofit AIR Gallery, 348 Tudor Court, Glencoe, Illinois. Opening night is on Saturday, March 5 at 5:00-8:00PM, where you can meet the artist and also listen to the jazz music of saxophonist Lukasz Jarosinski. The event is free and open to the public.
A native of Poland, Iwona was born into a family of artists (her father played acoustic guitar in a band; her mother was a ballerina), Iwona discovered her love of creative expression at a young age.
Iwona shared, "I recognize that there is a depth dimension to the world beyond surface appearance, a supreme being, the divine, which connects all living beings. For me art means energy, a journey to the 'wonderland' where limits do not exist. It’s a dialog between color, light and canvas where I can store the vibration and share with the audience."
Iwona is a painter and founder of the fine art and design company, Ideccor. She received a BA in Management & Marketing from The School of Banking and Management in Kraków (2003) and an MA in International Relations from Kraków University of Economics (2006).
