Kids Workshops Celebrating Fairy Tales

Running concurrently with AIR's gallery show, "Fairy Tales: A Floral Fantasy," AIR Studio will debut three kids workshops running Saturdays, starting at 1:00PM and taught by Lisa Siebert.

March 22, 1:00-3:00PM (2 hr class)

Family Workshop in Storytelling

Goldilocks & the Three Bears

$45 per family/group

A classic fairytale comes to life as the members of your family gather together to create the main characters and iconic items from Goldilocks and the Three Bears. These articulated paper dolls will be great for creative play. During this family workshop, we will read the story and create puppets and props to get the creative flow started.

Each family member has the opportunity to create their own articulated paper puppets from the story, listen to the classic fairytale as well as have the opportunity to tell the story with your family using the storytelling props you just created.

March 29, 1:00-2:30PM (1 1/2 hr class)

Create a Flower Pixie (6-10 yrs) $25 per student

Have you ever wandered through the forest and felt the presence of forest fairies? If not, we will help spur your imagination by bringing your own Flower Pixie to life! You will create your own unique Pixie personality by dressing it using real flowers and leaves native to their forest home!

April 5, 1:00-2:00PM (1 hour class)

Magical Fairy Wands (3-5 yrs)

$25 per student

Create your own magical fairy wands with us! We need your help bringing these magical creatures to life so that they can flutter their tiny wings around AIR Gallery before heading home with you! We will provide boy and girl cutouts, wings, and accessories for you to carefully cut out and bring to life with a few art supplies and lots of imagination! Then we will tour the Fairy Tale show in the AIR Gallery!
