Two seasoned painters (and ex-advertising pros) reunite for an epic clash of creative styles. One painter, armed with slow-drying oil, creates meticulous, layered masterpieces that scream "I have all the time in the world." Meanwhile, his partner in crime is all about the fast-paced life of acrylics, where bold strokes, quick decisions, and a dash of chaos reign supreme. Meet Joe Bednarski and Phil Gayter; they've spent years sparring over which paint reigns supreme, and are ready to throw down the Winsor & Newtons.
Expect live painting demos where Joe (oil) will patiently build up layers like he's making a lasagna, as Phil (acrylic/water) whips up bold creations faster than you can say "Bob Ross." Their friendly banter will reveal the secrets of their art journeys, shared advertising past, globe-trotting escapades, while they throw verbal daubings at each other. By the end, you’ll realize that while oil and water might not mix, these two painters definitely do—creating an evening full of humor, art, and the occasional happy accident. Perfect for art lovers, students, and anyone who enjoys watching paint dry.
